Starting: Do I need Forms and Charts
I've been thinking about homeschooling (since God has given me such wonderful ideas without looking at any curriculum). Since my husband is on board now I'm going ahead with it. There's a homeschooling convention in Indianapolis this weekend and I'm going! I'm very excited. I have my book bag for all the stuff I'm going to get. I'm also bringing my address labels (someone said they have you fill out a whole bunch of lists).Posted , Author Donna Young

Organizing Daily Work
Even my kids agree that we were a little disorganized last year. My only excuse is that it was our first year and we tweaked the system quite a bit, which made organization difficult. This year, we've a much clearer plan of what we are trying to accomplish and better lesson plans. I would now like to tackle the output hurdle. I know we want to do some kind of portfolio for history/ literature, but for the book learning type classes that are more structured, I'm at a loss.Posted , Author Donna Young

What is the Best Curriculum?
My name is Christie, I am from Georgia. I have two daughters. One is 12 and the other is 14. This is my first time homeschooling. I have a few questions but the main one for now is what is the best curriculum? I have been looking at Abeka... then I found another one that I may be interested in... "Core Curriculum of America." Can anyone give me any info on those... What is your opinion on them?Posted , Author Donna Young

My Class Package
I'm so excited! The Christian Liberty package came today. Because my daughter is sweating getting into college (she's going to be in the 9th grade in the fall), I signed her up for Christian Liberty Academy at our convention. We got our intro package with our planner and "stuff".Posted , Author Donna Young

CLASS Tailoring to Child's Need
We are just beginning to use this system. So far we've done the achievement testing and are awaiting results. Has anyone used the Christian Liberty Homeschool System - CLASS or family plan? If so, what are your opinions?Posted , Author Donna Young

How about the Lifepacs? Anyone use them? My 15 yo gets SOOO overwhelmed at the site of books, I thought this may be easier? Grammar, Abeka 8th(?)Posted , Author Donna Young
