Combine first 6 ingredients. Set aside.
Combine next 4 ingredients. Stir in mayonnaise mixture. When combined, top
with thinly sliced egg. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover and chill for several
hours. Makes 5 cups.
Variation - (Tuna Macaroni Salad or Shrimp Macaroni Salad):
In Step 2, add 1 can (6 ounce) tuna, drained and flaked or In Step 2, add
1/2 pound cooked, cleaned small shrimp.
