Strawberry Pie & Pie Crust

Ingredients

• Strawberry Filling:
• 1 C water
• 1 C sugar (may use less)
• 2 T corn syrup
• 2 T cornstarch
• 1-3oz pkg strawberry jello
• 1 Qt strawberries, halve or slice thick
•  
• Crust:
• 1 1/2 C flour
• 2 T sugar
• 2 T milk
• 1/2 t salt
• 1/2 C oil

Directions

Strawberry Filling:
Combine water, sugar, corn syrup, and cornstarch. Boil until thick and clear. Stir in jello. Cool and add strawberries.

Crust:
Combine all ingredients and pat into 9" pie plate. Bake at 400 for 10-12 minutes. When cool, add strawberry filling. Top with whipped cream.
