Heat oven to 375F. Combine flour, cake
flour, baking powder and baking soda in medium bowl; set aside.
Combine butter, sugar and brown sugar in large mixer bowl.
Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy (2 to 3 minutes).
Add eggs and vanilla. Continue beating, scraping bowl often, until well
mixed (1 minute).
Reduce speed to low. Continue beating, gradually adding flour mixture,
until well mixed (2 to 3 minutes). Stir in chocolate chips by hand. Drop
dough by 1/4 cupfuls 2 inches apart onto baking sheets
Bake for 10 to 14 minutes or until light golden brown.
(DO NOT OVER-BAKE.) Let stand 1 to 2 minutes; remove from baking sheets. 2
dozen cookies
*Substitute 1 cup all-purpose flour minus 2 tablespoons.
(Cookies will be flat and less chewy.)
TIP: For 2 1/2-inch cookies, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches
apart onto baking sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden
brown. 4 dozen cookies
