My favorite cake growing up would have to be the marble cake. I was always amazed at how the chocolate and vanilla swirled around each other.
Measure all ingredients into a large bowl. Using an electric mixer, stir on low speed for 2 minutes, scraping bowl constantly. Mix on high for 3 minutes (scrap occasionally). Put 1 cup of batter into a small bowl. Pour half of the remaining batter into a greased bundt pan. Add 1/4 cup of cocoa, 3 TBS cooking oil and 1 TBS milk to the 1 cup of reserved batter. Mix thoroughly. Pour chocolate batter over batter in bundt pan. Pour remaining white batter over the chocolate batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-70 minutes. Allow to cool thoroughly. Remove cake from pan. If desired, frost with a glaze.
Glaze-
2 cups powdered sugar
2 TBS soft butter (or margarine)
3 TBS milk
Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly. Drizzle over cake.
