Harvest Loaf

I got this from a friend's cook book but don't recall the name.
If you use stone or glass loaf pans lower the temp to 350* and increase the time to 50 then check for doneness w/toothpick.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c butter/margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 c pumpkin
  • 1t baking soda
  • 1t cinnamon
  • 1t salt
  • 1/2 t nutmeg
  • 1/4 t ginger
  • 1/4 t cloves
  • 1 3/4 c flour
  • 1 c sugar
  • 3/4 c chocolate chips
  • 3/4 c nuts

Directions

Combine butter, eggs, pumpkin, soda, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, sugar & flour. Blend. Add chips & nuts. Pour batter into greased loaf pans. Bake at 375* for 45 minutes until center tests done.
