In a blender add vanilla ice cream, milk,
food coloring and ice cubes.
Blend until smooth. If you are adding the extract add now, blend very
briefly, taste to see if you need to add more or not.
*You can substitute frozen vanilla yogurt or any of the fat free ice
creams for the regular ice cream. As far as the milk is concerned, you can
use any type you and your family prefers- skim milk, low fat etc...
Peppermint extract gives a cool minty flavor to these shakes. You can add
as little or as much as your taste buds prefer.
