There are variations to this that I'll list at the bottom.
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Combine first 7 ingredients in large bow.
Crumble ground meat over mixture and mix well (I use my hands, in latex
gloves to keep mess down, as I think I get things mixed better) until
everything is combined thoroughly.
Place in pan of choice and bake at 350 F for approximately 1 hours.
Variations:
In place of Yoshita sauce you could use ketchup, barbecue sauce or even
Italian dressing to change the flavor of the meatloaf. I have even used
salsa to get a Mexican flavor - DH didn't like it as much.
For the meat you could substitute the beef with ground turkey, wild game
or other ground meat of choice. You could also use Italian sausage for a
bit more bite if you like.
If you want to use fewer pans you can layer sliced vegetables such as
potatoes (I've only used reg. potatoes but you probably could use sweet
potatoes or even squash I would think), carrots, or any other veggie that
would taste good cooked w/meat.
Tip: If you line your pan first w/foil you can then place it in the
freezer, then when frozen remove from pan, wrap tightly w/foil, place in
freezer bag w/info & date and have ready for another time. I will
frequently do this and then just use the same pan to cook everything in. I
will usually only keep this in the freezer about 2-3 months as that's
about how long I can go before DH begins to ask for meatloaf again :-)
