My DH is helping someone at work right now and he has this math problem that he is stuck on.

L x C x T /3

L=10
C=3
T= 1/8

The choice for answers are 22, 44, 88, 96

I come up with 80, but I am not sure if that is right. I know someone here can help! flower3.gif

Thanks!! DH says thanks too! happy.gif

Ok, there is a lot more to this problem than DH told me about. It is way to confusing to post here. It is ship stuff and I don't get it.

Oh, well.

Hi,

I can tell you as a math teacher with the information given you will not get any of the given answers. Perhaps if you can submit the problem in whole maybe I can figure it out.

Thank you, Eloise. flower3.gif DH actually only gave me a part of the problem. This is a formula for a boatswain mate on a ship. The problem was really confusing and there was a lot more to it. It had to do with a rope and the circumference of the rope and stuff. Thank you for offering to help, though. I appreciate it! flower3.gif
