I just got through planning out dd#1 first nine weeks of English. I found it to be a little confusing. For example in the Teacher's Manual Unit 1, they have Phonics Unit 1, pre-reading lesson 1-6, then lessons 1-30. Then towards the end of the same book, they have Reading Unit 1, pre-reading lessons 1-6 and then lessons 1-30. It was hard for me to keep it straight. There are also a lot of books to keep up with. To keep it simple on my log sheet, I put the abbreviations, which I typed next to the book title.

Unit 1:
Teacher's Manual - TM
Printing Practice - PP
Phonic Workbook - PW
Reading Workbook - RW
Worksheets - WB

Unit 2 & 3:
Teacher's Manual
Reader book - RB
Printing Practice
Phonic Workbook
Reading Workbook
Worksheets

Unit 4 & 5
Same as above.

They don't expect the child to know their letters or very well anyways, so it seems to me that they go very fast. dunno.gif We will take it slow and continue through the summer if need be. There is a lot of seat work for the child. This and math will take up most of dd's time.

I still like the program. smile.gif
