Does anyone know where I can find a program or maybe more online templates to download for HS transcripts?

I don't know how to make them myself in Microsoft Word etc...

Thanks biggrin.gif

There is a basic one in Microsoft Word format on this webpage:
http://donnayoung.org/frm/hischl.htm
The grade scale on these may be incorrect. Many cases, the grade scale for high school is: 100-94 A; 93-86 B; 76-70 D; Below 70 F
Another change that might be needed is the addition of a social security number. I left it off because I am just not sure and there is no need in giving out that number unless it is required.

The One for Maine on that page is detailed for Maine.

The basic one mentioned above is a short one page transcript. I don't know all there is about transcripts, but I think there are at least two basic kinds.. a short one without course descriptions and one that contains course descriptions that accompanies the short one. It doesn't hurt to keep both kinds. I don't have any forms online that would be used for course descriptions, but I can upload one for you to look at.

The uploaded example is for language arts. A person would need to make one for each kind of course.

I have one I can email you, if you'd like. We live in TX and I adapted it from something I found online. I liked the organization of this one better than some of the others I found--it made more sense to me.

So far, all the official type people we've shown it to like it because they can tell at a glance how many years of English, Math, Social Studies, etc my girls completed. I found that most places like the KISS method-- with homeschoolers, some colleges are looking more at test scores and outside activities anyway. rolleyes.gif

Edit: Added the transcript file download. The file is 144KB and requires Microsoft Word to open. Thanks, Connie rrose.gif
