I am currently homeschooling Dd 13 y/o.....as well as 3 younger. Right now I don't see us not homeschooling! But, it really depends on where the A.F. takes us for each move!

My dd is currently a 9th grader. Sometimes things change, but the current plan is for her to hs all the way through. My other dd is currently a 7th grader. She will soon be high school as well.

I might. It depends.

I'd like to homeschool through high school, but who knows what will be going on in our lives five years from now? dunno.gif I just take things year by year. smile.gif

I grew up military, joined the military, and now my spouse is in the military, so long term planning isn't my specialty. laugh.gif

I voted I might. I really would like to. I cannot imagine sending my kids to school ever. My honey is not completely sold on the high school idea yet. He was a football star in high school and so he has not completely gotten that jock itch out of his brain yet. rolleyes.gif

Fortunately, having girls, he is a little more inclined to it. We will just see. I am praying hard for it. Maybe, I could just put my foot down.

Whenever we go to the mall or any other public area where there are teenage girls, he swears our kids will be homeschooled through college. stunned.gif

I answered "yes" to the poll as we are in our Junior year of hs with dd. We love it... and the spiritual growth she (and me too!!) has experienced has made it all worth while. Wherever the Lord leads......... yes.gif
Have a great day! Mia

This is my second year homeschooling my son in high school. I'll definitely finish homeschooling him. If he could he'd want to homeschool college too. rolleyes.gif

Is is sorta possible.  There are so many online college programs out there and some are connected to better known colleges.  I had looked into this to finish my degree but the cost was out of reach for us.

Yea, here in Kentucky, we have a thing called KYVU where a lot of the 4-year universities and all of the 2 year colleges have joined up and there are a quite a few Associates to Bachelor's online programs. That can be a good way to get your degree if you want to do it that way. yes.gif Those programs even have financial aid available. yes.gif

The poll missed an option. Already been there and got the T-Shirt and still am there!! bonk.gif

Jen my eldest graduated and still in college, our crew stays educating for life. My dad didn't stop until he was 71 and my mom was in some sort of college course just before she died.

Sarah is 15 and is doing her Sophmore year. Her curriculum this year is Geometry, Chemistry, Language Arts, American Poetry, Writeshop 2, Logic 2, Hebrew level 2, World History 3, and a review of Texas History.

Next year she may just go on into her first year of college. We are looking into that and we have a vet willing to do labs soooooooo. She my be double dipping and me out of the picture. With the other four in lower levels I could deal with this. We would just have to hook up the other puter to the network and let her go.

I am pretty sure that I am but, you never know where life will lead you. I want to and I am already researching it. I want to make sure that they get all of the things they need and I need the ability to be able to help them with what they are learning. I am thinking of getting Ashley's curiculum together for 9th grade and going back to 9th grade so to speak because there are alot of things that I need to brush up on. It is scary but, so is the hsing experience so, I don't know what I am fretting over.

I've met a highschool homeschooler online recently. He hates it, but is homeschooled because of the lifestyle he had gotten into. He was into the drug scene and actually died for 2 mins from an OD.

He said the experience was just so fun in highschool that it was worth it and that I should let my kids at least have that experience. omg2.gif Highschool to him, was a 24/7 party.

Yeah, I want my kids to experience that. rolleyes.gif

Have homeschooled perhaps longer than some of you are old. (oh my....that makes me feel REALLY old bonk.gif )

Graduated 4 from homeschool highschool, graduating 2 more this year, then one left to graduate after that.

Don't regret any of it either. And if any want to do a homeschool college, and one is thinking of it, I will help with that one too.
