I am about to order this too.
For those of you that use this--which printing book would I need for a child that is already writing--just not forming the letters correctly or neatly? Do you really need the chalkboard slate? What about the special paper? How much of it for 2 kids? Melinda, I hope you don't mind me jumping in on your thread. |

I'm using the program with my K and 2nd grader. I ordered the "Printing Power"
for the 2nd grader as well as the "Cursive Handwriting" book. For my K, I ordered "Letters and Numbers for Me". The "Printing Power" is for those already writing. In my opinion, I would not order the slate boards from them. I found some for less and $1 at a local craft store. I did order a couple of packs of paper but haven't used it yet ( I don't think they were too expensive). My kids love this program (esp. my 2nd grader who always hated to do his writing lessons). Hope this helps. |

Just so you have another opinion, we are using Handwriting w/o Tears for the first time this year and are loving it. It is a kinder, gentler approach that is working wonders for dd's handwriting. Planning on using it next year also.
